FOUNDER AND MD

Etta Madete is an award-winning Architect, Housing Developer and Sustainable Development Expert passionate about affordable, sustainable and gender inclusive housing in emerging markets.

She has both local and international experience in all portions of the housing development lifecycle, from fundraising, predevelopment, design, construction, delivery and property management. Etta has an Undergraduate Degree in Architecture; a Master’s in Sustainable Architecture both from the University of Nairobi and a Master’s in Real Estate from Havard University.

OPERATIONS MANAGER

Purity Lubira is a seasoned Logistics and Procurement professional with over eight years of experience in logistics coordination, Operations,procurement, supply chain management, and administrative support. She has a strong track record of streamlining processes, managing vendor relationships, ensuring compliance, and boosting operational efficiency across sectors like construction, property management, and corporate logistics.

PROJECT MANAGER AND URBAN PLANNER

 Kezia Georgina Onyango is an Urban Planner with a passion for affordable housing in emerging markets, advocacy for gender-inclusive urban spaces and geo-information for spatial equity. She has an undergraduate degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the Technical University of Kenya.

Assistant Architect 

Ian is an Architectural Technician with a keen eye for detail and a strong passion for sustainable design and construction methodologies. He is deeply interested in the creative use of materials, exploring textures and bringing thoughtful, efficient solutions to every project. Driven by a love of design, he works closely with passionate teams to transform concepts into precise, buildable plans that align with both aesthetic and environmental goals set.

FINANCE AND ACCOUNTING 

Godfrey is the Executive Director at Seal Associates with over 10 years of experience in tax, finance, grant management, and fundraising. Previously Finance Manager at Vipingo Development Ltd., securing USD 45 Million for project financing.

SALES AND INVESTOR MANAGER- ZIMA

Peninah Gichugu is a seasoned real estate professional with over 12 years of experience in sales, marketing, management and administration. She is passionate about affordable housing and real estate investment opportunities. Currently serving as the Senior Manger and Head of Sales, Investor Relations and Property Management at Zima Homes since October 2022, Peninah has consistently delivered outstanding results.

SITE SUPERVISOR- ZIMA

Jackson Nyaga brings many years experience in construction to Zima Homes, specializing in site supervision. As the site supervisor, Jackson is responsible for overseeing project execution, ensuring quality delivery. Jackson is passionate and attentive to quality details, problem solving, project completion on time and helping others to grow and succeed, also dedicated to contributing to Zima Homes’ mission of transforming urban communities.
